ABOUT US
ABOUT TUT
The Ullmann Trust was initially structured as a small vehicle by Philipp Ullmann, which he named after his parents Isaac and Emilia, as a thank you to their local UK community for offering refuge after the war.
A few generations later, Michael Ullmann, an entrepreneur, grew the Trust into an active philanthropic foundation - contributing to its endowment each time he sold a business.
Michael continues to operate as its Chair. The Trust’s investments and giving strategy are led by Carmel Sandler with guidance and engagement from its trustees.
Building on its origins in the UK, the Trust's work today reflects both a strong UK focus and an ongoing commitment to Jewish communities and causes globally.
